John started his career as a director’s rep at a boutique production company. He found his niche as a writer, collaborating with directors to script ideas and concepts for music videos and content for superstars like Beyonce, Katy Perry, Madonna, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Usher and Bruno Mars. This led to the world of commercials where he currently works with a prestigious roster of directors.

To date, John has written over 1,300 treatments for brands like Target, Google, Nike, Disney, HBO, Nintendo and McDonalds. He’s collaborated with directors on award-winning campaigns, Super Bowl spots, and written special projects for talent like Jamie Lee Curtis and Stevie Nicks.

When he’s not writing commercials, John is sketching out new worlds—literally. He writes and illustrates his uniquely original ideas, one of which has been in development at a major network.
